The success of the tattoos of the rose of Borneo

rosa de borneoThroughout life there are events, challenges and obstacles that we owe or want to overcome. And, depending on the tesitura, we succeed or fail. But not all situations are the same, and there are successes that mark us remarkably. For such moments there is a way to represent the achievement of achievements – the tattoos of the rose of Borneo.

Also called the Borneo rosette, star of Borneo or flower of patience, it is a prodecent symbol of the island of the same name, the island of Borneo.

This rose is composed of eight petals and a spiral located in the center. The petals represent the eight degrees of patience according to the beliefs of the island of Borneo and the spiral represents life.

The possibilities for tattooing this symbol are varied: the rose may appear alone, with some complement, completely black (except the spiral) or just the contour. But in what this type of tattoos does not differ much is in the place where they are located – the shoulders.

The flower of patience is a symbol created specifically for wearing on the skin. The fact of tattooing it translates all the beautiful beliefs related to it that exist on this island of Malaysia.

As always, it is possible that many will tattoo this flower by simple design, beauty, without thinking about the symbology it takes to the side. I’ve always been an advocate of the possibility of tattooing beautiful designs for no specific reason, but it never hurts to know the story behind the origin of each design, don’t you think?
